Description

I lay my head in a poppy field,

the one from in your dreams.

No longer growing from the earth

they're drowning in a sea.

the sea inside of me.

I lay there too, the water rolling

pushing over me.

But I don't drown, I'm not pulled under

I'm floating in a breeze.

Once, I lay there waiting for you to join me--

You stayed a while then grew cold

and drifted

away from me.
